Nature and Nomads Organization exists to empower pastoral and nomadic communities through sustainable environmental conservation, resilient livelihoods, improved livestock systems, water security, and human development.
We are committed to restoring ecosystems, strengthening community resilience, and creating sustainable economic opportunities while preserving indigenous knowledge and pastoral heritage.
Environmental Conservation
We work to protect, restore, and sustainably manage natural ecosystems to ensure long-term environmental resilience.
Our Key Focus Areas:
- Implement large-scale afforestation and reforestation programs using indigenous and drought-resistant species
- Develop and promote sustainable rangeland management practices
- Restore degraded ecosystems and establish community-led conservation areas
- Build community capacity for environmental stewardship and climate resilience
Livestock Development & Management
Recognizing livestock as the backbone of pastoral livelihoods, we strengthen livestock productivity, health, and market access.
Our Key Focus Areas:
- Provide comprehensive animal health services including vaccination and disease prevention
- Train communities on optimal livestock stocking rates and sustainable grazing systems
- Develop livestock value chains and improve market access
- Promote livestock commercialization and value-added products
